During your Beginner Ground School Class, you will learn all the basics of paragliding as well as enjoy many real-life flying adventure stories shared by your seasoned instructor.

 

Outline

• Students will receive a textbook and DVD training video.

• The class starts at 9:00 am at our clubhouse.

• "Basic Theory of Flight", Paragliding Safety briefing".

• Our "Circles of Safety handout" and Basic Meteorology/Micro-meteorology topics.

• Total course time is about 5 hours including the test and short breaks where refreshments (water, Tea, Coffee) are provided.

 

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or have the signature of a parent or guardian if you intend to take the Beginner's flight training next.

• Have signed an Air Vision Adventures school training waiver form.

• Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.

• Complete the written HPAC Beginner test. (For those who intend to take the Beginner flight training)

 

Fee and discount

• $349.00 plus taxes

• Take this course and our Introduction Day course together on the same weekend to receive a $100.00 discount.

• 50% of this course fee can be applied towards your Beginner Flight Training course.
