Your Novice Challenge Course

This course is designed for existing experienced pilots that do not have a current HPAC rating.

Student must pass a pre-assessment test conducted by our instructors.​

A 3-day intensive Novice Flight Training Course.

Ground school, Novice pilot written test, ground handling test at the airfield in 1 day.

Hill launch technique, flight maneuvers skill and safe landing test at an intermediate site on 2 flyable* days.

Student must fly with his/her own paragliding equipment that is approved by our instructor

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age or have a signature of Parent or guardian.

Have signed an Air Vision Adventures School training waiver form.

Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.

Be of reasonably good health that will allow moderate physical activity and allow the wearing of a helmet and paragliding harness.

Provide photographic /video/eyewitness proof of having done at least 25 flights.

Demonstrate good judgment of the selected flying site and weather conditions.

Completed the required HPAC Beginner practical "witnessed tasks".

Complete the HPAC written Novice test.

Complete the HPAC Novice practical "witnessed tasks".

Paragliding trips and travel costs are not included in this course fee.

Flyable* - Our instructor approves the weather and wind condition at a paragliding site to be suitable for students to take off, glide and land safely.

Students may reschedule for the next available training day should cancellation occur due to weather.
